Dr. Alexandra Gold is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Member of the Faculty at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in the Dauten Family Center for Bipolar Treatment Innovation. Dr. Gold is licensed in Massachusetts and New York.

As a psychotherapist, Dr. Gold is an expert in evidence-based psychotherapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, and is a specialist in the treatment of bipolar disorder, depression, substance use disorders, and anxiety disorders. She provides psychotherapy treatment to patients with a range of psychological conditions and presentations, and she regularly shares her expertise through media.

Dr. Gold maintains an active research program, primarily focused on intervention development for adults with mood disorders and substance use disorders. Her research has received funding from the National Institute of Mental Health.
